A business partner of Russian billionaires Mr. Skorobogatko and the Rotenbergs. He took part in financing the construction of the famous palace of Mr. Putin near Gelendzhik. He is one of co-owners of the TPS Real Estate Holding (which was number 19 on the Russian Forbes list Kings of the Russian Real Estate in 2020) and TPS Avia holding the most of shares of the Sheremetyevo airport.

According to the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, he has connections with Sergey Aksyonov, and supports Russians who are responsible for the invasion into Ukraine in 2014 and annexation of Crimea.

He is number 51 on the Russian Forbes 2021 list.

After being sanctioned by the EU, he said that he would withdraw from the board of directors of Sheremetyevo. He also said that he had never met Mr. Aksyonov but did not mention the war in Ukraine.
