A Russian businessman, director general and owner of the group of companies Kaspersky Lab which deals with IT-security.
He is number 101 on the Russian Forbes 2021 list.
Since Mr. Kaspersky graduated from the Technical Department of the Higher KGB school and always stayed in touch with Russian security services, it is suspected that his company which specializes in development of software is working for the Russian intelligence and the Kremlin. In March of 2022, the Federal Communications Commission in the United States added the Kaspersky Lab to the list of suppliers which represent “threat to the national security” of the United States.
