A Russian billionaire known as “Putin’s coach.” He has known Putin since his childhood. Being his judo partner, he is a representative of one of the two groups closed to the president of the Russian Federation. He is also one of the founders and the brightest representative of the Rotenberg’s family that Forbes found to the richest family in the Russian Federation in 2022.
In 2007, he founded the company Stroygasmontazh which won the first tender to build the land part of the gas pipeline Northern Stream and later Northern Stream-2. In 2015, the same company was contracted to build the so-called Crimean Bridge. In 2021, Arkadiy Rotenberg was a beneficiary of the complex near Gelendzhyk also known as “Putin’s palace.”
