A brother of Mr. Sarkisov was a member of the supervisory board of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, advisor to Mr. Putin, governor of Moscow, head of Rostekh and other representatives of the Kremlin elites. In 2020, the ex-president of France Nicolas Sarkozy was accused of corruption for lobbying interest of the company RECO-Guarantee. In 2018, Ukraine put Nikolay Sarkisov on a wanted list under suspicions of a large-scale fraud.
