A Russian oil tycoon, ex-chairman of the board and shareholder of the oil company Lukoil. His business partner is Leonid Fedun who also holds shared of Lukoil. The oligarch runs illegal business in the occupied Crimea, in particular he privatizes land.
He is number 4 on the Russian Forbes 2021 list.
The board of directors of the Lukoil company expressed its deep concern by the invasion of Russia into Ukraine and its sympathy to all those touched by this tragedy. Shares of Lukoil dropped by more than 99% after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
