On June 20, 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted a National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) decision imposing sanctions on a number of individuals and legal entities involved in supplying weapons to the Russian military. Among those are entities previously identified in Trap Aggressor investigations.

The new sanctions package targets companies that supply Russia with FPV drones, guidance systems, optics, and electronics for combat UAVs.

Entities from the Trap Aggressor investigations included in the sanctions list:

  1. LLC Opytno-KB “Sokol” – a design bureau specializing in the development of FPV drones, virtual reality headsets, and control systems.
  2. LLC Aero-Khit – one of the key Russian entities that has established mass production of FPV drones. It is a resident of the Khabarovsk Advanced Special Economic Zone. The company manufactures Veles-1 strike and reconnaissance UAVs, which are used by Russian forces on the Kherson front.
  3. JSC SCTB Kurganpribor – a manufacturer of fire control system components, including those for guided aerial bombs.
  4. LLC Astron Aero – a subsidiary of JSC OKB Astron, producing thermal imaging optics, sensors, and FPV drones such as the Kurs-800TB and Granat-PG.
