President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decree No. 247/2025, which put into effect the NSDC decision on a new sanctions list. This time, 39 individuals and 60 legal entities directly related to the Russian missile program were added to the list. Among them are three companies from Trap Aggressor’s research and investigations.
JSC Polema, JSC Ruspolimet, and JSC Uralredmet are suppliers of materials and components for intercontinental ballistic missiles, combat aircraft engines, and kamikaze drones. Their role in Russia’s war against Ukraine has long been known to experts. Now, restrictions on their activities have been officially recorded.
Polema: high-tech chrome for war
Polema is one of the leading Russian powder metallurgy manufacturers. The plant in Tula (Russia) produces high-purity chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten — metals that are critical for the production of military turbojet engines. Among the company’s clients is ODK-UMPO. The manufacturer is part of the United Engine Corporation (UEC), which is part of the state corporation Rostec. ODK-UMPO produces engines for combat aircraft (Su-27, Su-30 etc), including those that attack Ukrainian cities.
Ruspolymet: Ukrainian roots, Russian missiles
We wrote about Ruspolymet in Trap Aggressor’s investigation in January. It described how, originally from Ukraine, Viktor Klochay, together with his family organized the supply of key materials to the Russian military-industrial complex through Europe. The import amounted to more than $ 30 million. This company was distinguished by Putin in 2024, which once again confirms its important role in strategic military projects, including the modernization of Russian intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Uralredmet: titanium links in the chain of war
The third entity on the list is Uralredmet, another “invisible giant” from the Sverdlovsk region. The company specializes in the production of ligatures for titanium alloys — the basis of parts for aviation, space, and defense. Uralredmet’s products are supplied to JSC Votkinsky Zavod and JSC Proton-PM — both enterprises are directly involved in the production of strategic intercontinental ballistic missiles, such as the Yars.
