52 individuals and 35 companies: Ukraine imposes new sanctions against suppliers of drones and machine tools for Russia’s military-industrial complex

On June 27, 2025, in Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree putting into effect the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine on the introduction of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) against 87 entities involved in providing for the Russian military-industrial complex.
The sanctions restrictions cover:
- 52 individuals – citizens of the Russian Federation;
- 35 legal entities – of which 34 are tax residents of the Russian Federation and one company from China.
Among the companies subject to sanctions are companies and their managers that supply components, equipment, and materials for the production of Shahed attack drones within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in Tatarstan. The sanctions also cover suppliers of machine tools, industrial technologies, and other equipment for the Russian military-industrial complex.
