German manufacturer of high-tech sights Kilic Feintechnik GmbH is supplying its products to Russia in circumvention of international sanctions. As the Trap Aggressor investigation has revealed, during the full-scale invasion, the company supplied sights worth almost $800,000 to the Russian Federation through a Turkish front company.

According to customs documents, the German manufacturer labels its products as “not for military use” but Russian military instructors openly recommend these sights for combat operations. Moreover, they can be freely purchased in the center of Moscow.

Before the start of the full-scale war, Kilic Feintechnik supplied its products to the Russian Federation directly, but since October 2022, the company has been using the Turkish company Yagmur global dis ticaret limited sirketi as an intermediary. This company was registered in Turkey on July 4, 2022, shortly before the sanctions circumvention scheme began.

These facts emphasize the need to strengthen control over compliance with sanctions and suppress schemes for circumventing them through third countries.
