One of the developers was Putin’s friend, Russian businessman Alexei Repik. Moreover, his family has no problems traveling to Europe and America, as neither he nor his family are on the sanctions lists.
It is Alexey Repik who owns the R-Stroy company, which is one of the main developers of occupied Mariupol. He founded this company in May 2022, when Russia completely seized the city. R-Stroy almost immediately began “rebuilding“ residential buildings, schools, and hospitals.
R-Stroy is looking for nearly 400 people of various professions to join its team on a Russian job search service. The company needs workers not only in Mariupol, but also in occupied Donetsk and Simferopol.
In addition, in 2022, Repik’s company Ryatiko imported 800 bottles of rare wines worth almost 4 million euros to Russia, bypassing sanctions that prohibit the supply of drinks that cost more than 300 euros.
