His stepfather, Yuri, worked with Vladimir Putin on establishment of the Department of International Relations at the Saint Petersburg State University. From 2008 to 2013, Mr.\u00a0Molchanov was a representative of the Leningrad oblast in the Federation Council.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LSR Group has been participating in military exhibitions of the Russian army, cooperating with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for many years, building accommodation for Russian servicemen and reporting on that to Vladimir Putin.
