The National Agency on Corruption Prevention will consider proposals of experts of the StateWatch think tank regarding measures to prepare a draft NATO Building Integrity Program (NATO BI) for 2024. This program must include a number of practical instruments in line with NATO standards which will help Ukraine to strengthen good faith, transparency and accountability as well as mitigate corruption risks in the sector of security and defence. Based on such educational event, the next step will be the elaboration of a manual on cases to introduce good governance practices in the sector of security and defence during the martial law. The recommendations of StateWatch, in turn, have been considered and submitted to the representative Office of NATO in Ukraine for further approval. Let us remind that, in June of 2023, the NACP Deputy Chief, Yaroslav Liubchenko, was appointed to the position of the National Coordinator on Collaboration of Ukraine and NATO in the sphere of Good Faith Development. Being a member of the Commission on Coordination of Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, he is responsible for coordination of the NATO BI Program.
